Spring Wreath, At Last

I've been wanting to try a spring wreath like this for awhile now.  I finally got around to wrapping the wreath with yarn.  And then it sat and sat, mocking me with its green unfinishedness.

Finally while my mom was visiting, we were able to finish it as a group activity.

When you do something with kids, you do have to give over some of your vision to accommodate theirs.

I was going to group the flowers artistically at the bottom of the wreath but Ellis wanted them to go all around.  It's cool, though.  His smile makes me feel pretty good about it regardless.
